7.30pm performance

‘Just a man with his voice and guitar doing some old fashioned diddly-diddly-diddly-bap-bap’ Newton Faulkner

Returning for the first time since his fantastic 2019 Gawsworth concert, Newton Faulkner remains a man in motion. Across the songwriter’s freewheeling fifteen-year plus career the sole constant has been his urge to tear down what came before, shed his creative skin and outrun industry dogma.

Already that rebel spirit has seen Faulkner’s music pinball from the outer-limits of acoustic sorcery of 2007’s UK number one debut, Hand Built By Robots, through an acclaimed catalogue that takes in rock, pop, folk, soul and beyond.

Expect Newton’s usual old-school solo approach, mixing his hits and favourites.

Performances take place on a large festival stage in front of the Hall. The seating area is uncovered.

Please bring your own garden chair. Gazebos, fishing brollies, parasols etc are allowed, but not in the main seating area.

No children under six years old may attend performances.

(Price includes £3.00 per ticket booking fee/restoration levy.)
