Classic Car Show – Bank Holiday 2 May 2022

An annual event since 1998, the show takes place from 10.00am to 4.00pm in the walled Elizabethan pleasure gardens.

With the first recorded rally taking place in 1902, and held by the Manchester automobile club, Gawsworth has long been linked with the motor vehicle, and in the 1940s and 1950s was home to Denis Ferranti’s wonderful collection, including a T59 Bugatti that now takes pride of place in Ralph Lauren’s garage.

In recent years, highlights have included wonderful eight-litre vintage Bentleys and dozens of period scooters, with all welcome to come and go as they wish, ensuring a relaxing day for both owners and visitors, with an informal concours and autojumble.

Youngtimer Car Show – Bank Holiday 3 June 2022

Celebrating cherished classics from the 1970s, 80s and 90s, the show takes place from 10.00am to 4.00pm with a static display and informal concours.

Entry is open to cars and motorcycles from this intoxicating period – when the GTi, Quattro and M-series ruled the road – and to vehicles from other eras at the discretion of the organiser.

A sell-out last year, the Youngtimer has over recent years developed a loyal following. *IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DISPLAY ENTRANTS: YOU MUST PRE-PURCHASE A DISPLAY TICKET BY CALLING 01260 223456.*
